Tuesday evening, the Community Engagement Task Force will host a public forum from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The forum will be held at Guadalupe Elementary School in the cafeteria.

The Community Engagement Task Force invites all citizens in Lubbock to the forum to ask questions and hear from a panel consisting of members from the task force, the Lubbock Police Department, and the Lubbock City Council.

The point of the forum is to share ideas about how the City of Lubbock can better engage with the community and build helpful relationships.

The task force was created in 2016 to build trust, communication, social awareness, better race relations and to create a culture of inclusion for Lubbock citizens.
