Lubbock’s 34th Street Association Elects New Board Members
New officers were elected to serve on Lubbock’s 34th Street Association’s board of directors at the group’s March meeting.
The group said their mission is to promote and serve businesses along 34th St. and was formed back in 2005.
The newly elected officers for 2015-2016 are:
Andy Turner – President
Spike Wideman – Vice President
Mitchell McNeese – Treasurer
Ann Schooler – Secretary
Julie Childs – Immediate Past President
“I am excited about the future of 34th St. The massive overhaul and reconstruction of the street is nearing completion and we are ready to increase our promotion of the over 500 businesses on 34th St. to the residents of Lubbock, the South Plains and Eastern New Mexico,” said the newly elected president.
