Lubbock Woman Indicted After Children Test Positive for Drugs
A Lubbock woman, 37 year old Samantha Hartfield, was indicted last week after her children tested positive for exposure to cocaine, amphetamines, and methamphetamines on October 10th.
According to KMAC News, the children have since been taken into protective care. The charge is being listed as endangering a child and it a state-jail felony. If she is convicted she faces two years in a state facility. Hartfield is being held in the Lubbock County Detention center on a bond totaling over $17,000.
