Are you dreaming of a white Christmas? Or just hoping you don't slide right off The Loop this December? Here's what the weather may look like this winter in Lubbock.

According to the Farmer's Almanac, winter in our region will be downright mild in temperature and precipitation:

Winter will be milder and drier than normal, with below-normal snowfall. The coldest periods will be in late December, late January, and mid-February, with the best chances for snow in mid- and late December, early January, and mid-February.

That's good, the last time it snowed a lot I threw my hip out trying to ninja kick a snow clod.

BTW: I had to sign up for an account on Farmer's Almanac to get that information. You're welcome.
