
Suspect Shot After Aiming Gun At Lubbock County Deputies
The Lubbock County Sheriffs Department is investigating an officer involved shooting that occurred Friday morning in Lubbock. The shooting led to one person, the suspect, being taken to University Medical Center.

According to a press release from Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened just before 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Lubbock County Sheriff Deputies were called to the 9100 block on Highway 87. They were called there because of reports of a person was there with a gun. Authorities found the suspect, and the suspect pointed their handgun at the officers. A deputy shot suspect who was given aid and transported to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
According to the KAMC, one other person was evaluated on the scene for injuries.
