Lubbock’s St. Jude Radiothon 2016 — Here’s How to Donate

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is back in Lubbock for a two-day fundraiser that will make a huge difference to so many children fighting cancer.

On Thursday, Feb. 25 and Friday, Feb. 26 from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days, Lubbockites can donate to St. Jude by calling the toll-free number 1-800-795-1800. You can hear more about the radiothon on air and online at Lonestar 99.5 FM.

A simple $20 donation as a Partner in Hope can make all the difference, but any amount is greatly appreciated and goes toward a great cause: helping children beat cancer.

During the 2015 radiothon, Lubbock donated more than $28,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This money helps ensure no family pays a dime to St. Jude.

According to St. Jude, it costs approximately $2 million each day for the organization to operate, and around 75 percent of that cost is covered solely by tax-deductible public contributions.
