A new development in the murder case of Larry Fawver. The Metro Special Crimes Unit has secured an arrest warrant for a second suspect: 20-year-old Hassan Abdurahman.

It's reported by KAMC News that Abdurahman could have ties to Grand Prairie and Lubbock, although his exact connection to the July 13th murder is unclear.

67-year-old Larry Fawver was shot and killed Saturday (July 13) at a home in the 5600 block of 122nd Street. A man later identified as his step-grandson, 19-year-old Felix Alonzo, was arrested as a suspect just hours after the shooting.

Anyone who has information on the shooting of Fawver or the whereabouts of Abdurahman is urged to call the Cime Line at 806-741-100o. Any useful tips that lead to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
