Lubbock Police Arrest Bank Robbery Suspect

50-year-old Demetrius Spence was arrested inside the Greyhound Bus Station at 801 Broadway Avenue Friday afternoon.
Spence was located at 3:37 p.m. with a bus ticket going out of town in hand.
He has been transported to the Lubbock County Detention Center.

Lubbock Police Officers responded to a robbery at a Wells Fargo Branch at 1215 University Avenue at around 11:10 a.m. Friday morning.
According to LPD's Facebook page, the suspect handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and handed over an unknown amount of money. The suspect then left the store.
The suspect is described as a black male standing at 6'02", weighing around 200-230 pounds, bald, and was wearing a grey zip-up hoodie, blue jeans, and tennis shoes at the time of the robbery.
