The Lubbock Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a black Ford Mustang that they say caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Police say that on the morning of March 10th, a black Ford Mustang was traveling south on Oxford Avenue near 84th Street when it crashed into two brick mailboxes.

The driver drove away from the scene without notifying anyone of nearly $2,000 in damage.

Investigators say that part of the front grill of that Mustang was left at the scene and that they’re looking for a year model ranging from 1999 to 2004.

Anyone with information may be eligible for a cash reward if they call the crime line at 741-1000.
