Lubbock Non-Profit Receives Award

The award is the Angel in Adoption Award.  The recipient is Adoption Covenant.  It’s a non-profit that tries to eliminate barriers to adoption.  Marinda Condra is the executive director.

“I would say that that the primary barrier is ignorance, a lack of education about the process and how to go forward.  A lot of what we ‘re trying to do is make adoption accessible to everyone, and also help birth mothers or women facing unplanned pregnancy to consider adoption as an option that they may not have considered before.”
