Lubbock Man Sentenced to Decades in Prison for Aggravated Robbery
A Lubbock man has been sentenced to more than three decades behind bars for robbing a local convenience store.
KAMC News reports that in November of 2016, 43-year-old Clinton Scott Townsend walked into an EZ Mart in the 5400 block of 50th Street and held a cashier at gunpoint, demanding money.
Townsend was arrested just two days later by Lubbock Police. Thursday, a judge sentenced Townsend to 33 years in prison for one count of Aggravated Robbery.
