A Lubbock man was sentenced on Friday (December 28th) to almost 4 years in federal prison for conspiracy to possess stolen mail.

31-year-old Garrett Austin Malone admitted to breaking into 3 US Postal Service blue boxes and about 50 residential or commercial mail boxes.

Malone admitted that he acquired people's personal information and would sell it on the dark web.
