Lubbock Man Arrested for Robbery and Possession of Marijuana

A dispute over a cell phone ended with an arrested over the weekend. KAMC News reports that two people met just before 7:17 p.m. on Saturday in the 1800 block of Glenna Goodacre Boulevard and Avenue R.

The suspect, 21-year-old Laron Godfrey, is reported to have met with another person at the location to exchange cell phones. That's when Godrey is alleged to have pulled out a gun and hit the other person and stealing their phone.

Godfrey was arrested for robbery, possession of marijuana, and unlawfully carrying a weapon. He's being held on bonds totally over $13,000.
