If you are a fan of Christmas lights and displays, or at least have children that enjoy lights, music, and displays, you will want to check out the newest Christmas attraction opening soon in Lubbock.

If you have driven on the South Loop around Home Depot and the South Plains Mall, you've probably seen some setting up of Christmas displays and starting this Friday, November 8th, the displays will be ready, the lights will be on and the Christmas music will be playing.

The Lubbock Light Park Opens November 8th

The Lubbock Light Park is Lubbock's very first holiday drive through experience. The Lubbock Light Park located between Home Depot and Premiere Cinemas and the South Plains Mall will be open everyday starting Friday, November 8th. Hours will be 5:30pm to 11:00pm Friday through Sunday, and 5:30pm to 10pm Monday through Thursday. The price to get in is $30 per car load, and there is no limit on how many people can be in the car, just remember to drive safely. It's recommended that you purchase a ticket online ahead of time to avoid long wait time. You can purchase tickets and get more information at lubbocklightpark.com.

This is a drive through experience and the music will be played through a radio station on your cars stereo. Visitors to the Lubbock Light Park will experience an 80 yard light tunnel, 17-foot lighted trees, and thousands of lights that are synched to music.

The plan is for the Lubbock Light Park to get bigger every single year.

I'm pretty sure the Lubbock Light Park will become another favorite of the Christmas season in Lubbock.
