Lubbock Halloween Film Screenings for Kids
There are a few screenings of fun Halloween movies for the kiddos this month in Lubbock.
Earlier this month, Spirit Halloween Superstore hosted screenings of Coraline and the original George A. Romero Night of the Living Dead in their parking lot. Side note: throughout October, Spirit will honor a coupon for a 10 percent discount and donate that discount to Covenant Children’s Hospital.
CASPER
Casper follows the story of a young girl and her exorcist father as they befriend the ghost of a child and his friends. Casper was originally a comic book in 1939 and became an animated series in 1945. The friendly ghost was given the transition to the silver screen in 1995. This is one parents don’t want to miss because as part of the Alamo Kid’s Camp - the screening is absolutely free.

HOCUS POCUS
Alamo will also host the 1993 Disney classic Hocus Pocus. The event is labeled under Alamo’s ‘Girlie Night’ category, but I couldn’t be more excited to see this classic that stars Sarah Jessica-Parker, Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy as bumbling witch sisters. Alamo does require parents to escort children during this screening and children under 6 will not be allowed.
