Medical Foster Homes Needed in Lubbock

According to Lubbock Animal Services, they are in need of medical foster homes for more than 56 puppies that they currently have in the shelter. Foster homes are needed to house these puppies as they wait for their vaccinations and spaying and neutering procedures.

If you decide to foster a dog or two, you won't be responsible for medical costs. Lubbock Animal Services will cover all medical care such as vaccinations and the spaying or neutering surgeries.

Be a Responsible Pet Owner

Lubbock Animal Services reminds all pet owners to spay or neuter your pet. Lubbock Animal Services reports that Lubbock has many stray animals and it's something that many in Lubbock citizens have taken to social media about and have complained to the Lubbock City Council about.

If interested in volunteering to foster, please call Lubbock Animal Services at 806.775.2057. Additionally, if you need information and resources to get your pet spayed or neutered contact Lubbock Animal Services.
