Lubbock Fire Department Kicks Off Fill the Boot Campaign

On Thursday (August 15th), Lubbock Fire Rescue announced that they are kicking off the annual Fill the Boot campaign to help raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

In a video featuring guest speaker and City Councilman Steve Massengale, Lubbock Fire Rescue officials encourage community members to give to a good cause during their campaign to raise funds benefiting research for MDA.

Drivers are reminded to keep an extra close eye on the road during the fundraising campaign while firefighters are out collecting donations.
