Voters in Lubbock County continue to turnout in very large numbers during Early Voting.

Through Wednesday night (October 31) the 10th day of the current Early Voting period, 55,060 people had cast ballots in Lubbock County. The 55,060 ballots cast represents 31.3% of the registered voters in Lubbock County (176,056).

The 55,060 ballots cast for 2018 Early Voting also surpass the total number of votes cast in the past three midterm elections in Lubbock County.

For the 2006 election, in Lubbock County, 53,870 votes were cast in total, for Early Voting and Election Day. In the 2010 election, the total number of votes cast in Lubbock County was 53,995. Finally, in the 2014 election, 44,467 votes were cast in Lubbock County.

There are two more days of Early Voting, which ends on November 2, before the 2018 General Election occurs on Tuesday, November 6.
