A local smoke shop has reached an agreement with City of Lubbock prosecutors regarding substances considered as synthetic marijuana by the City.

The City Prosecutor’s Office and Nothin’ Butt Smokes have reached an agreement, regarding recent citations filed against the business following the seizure of numerous herbal products alleged by the police to violate the City’s prohibition of synthetic drugs.

According to a press release from the City of Lubbock, Nothin’ Butt Smokes has voluntarily agreed to stop selling the substances seized by Lubbock Police last March.

The products include Baraboo Shotz, Texas Twister, Fallen Angel, Comfortably Numb, Devil’s Advocate, Orale, Fubar, Red Devil, and Myle High.

The business continues to assert that the products comply with federal, state, and local laws, it has agreed to remove the products, and the City plans to monitor their locations to ensure compliance with the agreement.

The Lubbock City Council gave final approval to the ordinance banning synthetic marijuana on February 14th, 2013, and the ban went into effect 30 days later.
