On Thursday morning, April 9, 2020 the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host a 'virtual' Community Prayer Gathering to pray as a city for first responders, medical care providers, families, businesses and leaders in the city of Lubbock, all of whom continue to be severely affected during COVID-19 pandemic.

The Community Prayer Gathering will take place at 9:00 A.M. on the Zoom.us website. The event will also be carried live on the Lubbock Chamber’s Facebook page. Mayor Dan Pope, among many others, will be leading prayers.

Eddie McBride, President and CEO of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce said,

With everything going on in the world right now there is no better time to come together in prayer. Coronavirus has disrupted all of our lives and now is the time to stand together in prayer so we will emerge from this crisis stronger than before. I encourage everyone to join us on Thursday as we pray for our city and those that make Lubbock the best place to live.

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will continue to be a major resource in assisting local businesses to reduce and manage the impact of COVID-19. You may find much more information here: http://www.lubbockchamber.com/covid-19-info-resources
