
Lubbock Police Searching For Vehicle Involved in Hit-and-Run
Lubbock Police need your help in locating a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run incident in central Lubbock that left one person on a bicycle seriously injured.
Hit-and-Run Leaves Citizen Seriously Injured
At around 11:39pm on November 1, Lubbock Police responded to a call about a hit-and-run. Officers located 45-year-old Billie Koss in the 1300 block of 82nd Street with serious injuries. According to a press release on Tuesday, Lubbock Police need the public's help in locating the vehicle that was involved.
Upon arrival, officers located Billie Koss, 45, lying in the roadway with serious injuries. Koss was transported by EMS to University Medical Center. Through the initial course of the investigation, it appears, Koss was riding a bicycle east in the 1300 block of 82nd Street and attempted to cross 82nd Street before she was struck by a white passenger car.
The driver of the white passenger car fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The passenger car is described as an early 2010’s model Hyundai Sonata or similar vehicle.
Anyone with information regarding this vehicle is asked to call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000. Individuals with information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward.
