
Elderly Lubbock Woman Attacked By At Least Two Dogs Thursday Morning
One issue that most in Lubbock agree on? There are too many dogs roaming Lubbock streets. Whether it's because people have bad fences, or they abandon dogs on the side of the road, we have a problem with dogs on the loose and now another person has been attacked.
According to the Lubbock Police, one person suffered serious injuries during a dog attack on Thursday morning. The dog attack happened just after 8:00 a.m. in the 2400 block of East 8th Street.

According to a press release, both Lubbock Animal Services and the Lubbock Police are looking into the attack. At least two dogs attacked the elderly woman who was taken to University Medical Center.
Around 8:00 Thursday morning, Lubbock Animal Services (LAS) and the Lubbock Police Department (LPD) received a report of an elderly woman attacked by aggressive dogs. LAS has picked up two dogs that were involved in the attack in the 2400 block of East 8th Street. The victim was transported to UMC for evaluation and treatment. There are no further details known at this time.
