Littlefield Man Charged with Murder and Aggravated Assault

Yesterday (Sept. 19), a Littlefield man was charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

KAMC News reports, 22 year-old Brent Michael Silvas was arrested Monday night after being accused of shooting 51 year-old Vernon Williams in the head. Williams was taken to University Medical Center in Lubbock where he later died.

A second gunshot victim was found with a minor gunshot wound to the back of his left leg.

As of this time, Silvas is being held in the Lamb County Jail without a set bond.
