Texas Tech’s former head football coach has landed another job.

Mike Leach has reached a verbal agreement to take over the head coaching position at Washington State University, according to the Associated Press. No confirmation of a contract has been reported as of yet.

Leach will be replacing Paul Wulff, who was fired after going 9-40 in four seasons, and 4-32 in league play.

Leach had an 84-43 record in ten seasons at Texas Tech, and was fired in 2009. No word yet on updates to the lawsuit Leach filed against Texas Tech following his termination.
