Welcome to spring in Texas. That means severe weather season is just beginning and this weekend saw some parts of the state get pounded by hail.

Just about all of us in Texas could use rain and in the Hill Country and San Antonio it's no different. But severe storms on Sunday brought high winds, rain, and large hail to the Texas Hill Country.

Golf Ball to Baseball Sized Hail Slam Texas' Hill Country

According to KENS5, the town of Kerrville may have seen the worse of the hail on Sunday evening. KENS5 reports that hail up to the size of baseballs fell in Kerrville, Texas on Sunday. And it wasn't just a few hailstones. Kerrville was pounded by hail according to videos posted on X (formally Twitter).

Another post on X shows hail falling into a swimming pool, making waves.

Another post shows damage to signs and cars in the Kerrville area. It also shows a bit of fog rising from the hail.

Some on social media claimed the hailstorm over Kerrville lasted 15 to 20 minutes.
