On the Tuesday edition of The Chad Hasty Show, KAMC 28's Nick Oschner spoke with Chad Hasty to give a first-hand account of the devastation from the Moore, Oklahoma tornado.

Oschner and his team arrived in Moore, Oklahoma around 9:30 Monday evening, several hours after the tornado struck. Even in the darkness, Oschner said the damage was apparent. He described entire buildings and shopping centers being leveled, and mangled and destroyed cars everywhere after they were tossed around by the storm. He also described the "highly coordinated' efforts of police and first responders to search for survivors.

However, there is a bit of good news coming out of Moore, Oklahoma. Oschner reported that the death toll has actually gone down from the initial count of 51 to 24 victims, 7 of those children. He also reported that over 100 survivors have been located and are safe, but there are still many unaccounted for.
