On Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Joe Hays, group commander of the Winged Commandos, joined Chad and Rex to discuss their appearance at the Silent Wings Museum in honor of Veterans' Day.

The Winged Commandos are a "living history group," who honor and celebrate the memory of veterans by dressing up in uniforms from that time and participating in historical re-enactments. Hays said that, when done correctly and with respect, wearing these uniforms serves as a great educational tool. Today, the Winged Commandos will be out at the Silent Wings Museum,
