
Texas Is The Best Place To Hunt For Dinosaurs Right Now
Waco, Texas has a very large abundance of fossilized history that is both readily on display, but also awaiting discovery as Texas was once ground zero for all kinds of pre-historic action.

As the country gets ready for the next installment in the Jurrassic Park saga: Rebirth opens 4th of July weekend, but you can be your very own dinosaur hunter right here in Central Texas.

Besides the big screen, where can else can you discover dinosaurs in Texas?
On of my family's favorite place to visit is the Waco Mammoth National Monument which of course is part of the National Park Service. If you are wanting to hunt living dinosaurs, you will need to get in contact with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, but I am willing to bet they will tell you that if you actually found a dinosaur, it is most like an endangered species and protected by law.
What are some good places to check out dinosaur history in Texas?
If you are willing to travel about an hour to the north of Waco, you can also check out Dinosaur Valley State Park where you can literally place your feet in the exact same spot dinosaurs once did as the Paluxy river bed is full of foot prints.

So, if you plan on taking the kids to the new Jurassic Park film, you might want to be prepared for some dinosaur excursions because that is all they will want to talk about.
