Lubbock Multi-Agency Prostitution Sting Results in 14 Arrested
A multi-agency prostitution sting took place in Lubbock resulting in quite a few arrests. The Lubbock Police Department's Special Operations Division partnered with the Texas Department of Public Safety and Lubbock Fire Rescue for a two-day prostitution sting in Lubbock.
During this operation 14 people in total were arrested and charged with prostitution and/or solicitation of prostitution, and other offenses if applicable. This prostitution sting took place over the course of two days on October 2nd and 3rd resulting in one arrest for felony prostitution, four arrests for misdemeanor prostitution and eight felony arrests for solicitation of prostitution.

Out of those arrested one female was identified as a possible victim of human trafficking and not listed in the arrest information provided by the Lubbock Police Department.
