Celebrate Life At Lubbock’s First HopeFest This August
Mark your calendars, Lubbock! HopeFest 2025 is coming to town, and it's bringing more than just hot dogs and sunshine — it’s bringing hope.
What is HopeFest 2025?
LifeGift, the nonprofit organization behind the region’s organ, eye, and tissue donation efforts, is hosting its first ever HopeFest on Saturday, August 9th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Texas Tech University Recreational Softball Fields. And yes — the event is free and open to everyone!
HopeFest is all about honoring donors, celebrating life, and raising awareness for the more than 10,000 Texans currently waiting for life-saving transplants. I was one of those Texans. Although, mine wasn't 'life saving', I did receive a donor cornea in my right eye.
