Lubbock Master Gardeners Announce Spring Plant Sale Date

Now that we are feeling the true cold of Lubbock winters, we are all ready for spring to arrive. Something about the weather warming up and the world blooming is so wonderful.

One of my favorite things to look forward to in the spring is spending more time outside, and enjoying all of the beautiful plants that start to bloom. From green grass to flowers, seeing nature come back to life is so wonderful.

I am someone that enjoys gardening, so the spring time always has me wanting to start growing some veggies as well as adding more plants in and around my home. A great annual flower to app to the front porch is a must, and peppers are one of my favorites to grow in my backyard garden.

If you feel the same way, then you are likely looking forward to finding where you can purchase local plants once spring comes around.

Well, one plant sale you can always count on is put on by the Lubbock Master Gardeners, and they have officially announced when their sale will be for 2024.

This year’s spring plant sale will be at the Hodges Community Center on Saturday, April 20th, at 9:00 a.m.

More details will be announced as they get closer to the event, but future sales included a variety of decorative plants, fruiting plants, herbs, and more.

Seeing this announcement really has me ready for the winter chill to end and the spring warmth to come around.
