We have been fortunate to talk to some legends on The RockShow and we got to add William Shatner to the list.

Talk about unexpected. William Shatner is 91 years old, sharp as a tack and with a wit and quickness about him that I would compare with the finest stand-up comedians. He was, in fact, sharper than I was at the end of my workday.

You can check out some audio of William Shatner visiting with us at the end of this post, but let me say he tricked us a couple of times, bad enough that I called him a "dirty dog" and a "kook".

The reason I bring all of this up is, William Shatner will be at Buddy Holly Hall this Friday night and it will be an absolute joy for fans of the Star Trek legend. First off you'll get a totally remastered screening of "Star Trek: The Wrath Of Khan", then Shatner will come out for a talk and questions and answer session.

I hope that all the fans will make it out to the show and get the experience of talking to the actor. He's incredibly genuine, down-to-earth, and yes, riotously funny.

As for the film, it's just so iconic. Ricardo Montalbán who was hosting Fantasy Island at the time plays Khan and he was so buff at the time people couldn't believe it. Kirstie Alley also made the jump as a (sorry if this is sexist) super-hot Vulcan. Then there's William Shatner, eating up the big screen with a scoop.

You can pick up your tickets to the show here, and you might even want to consider the post-show photo-op package. Again, below is a very fun interview with had with the captain.
