Are cruise ship vacations always disasters or does social media just make it seem that way?

I feel like I've seen so many videos of cruise ship mishaps online over the past few years. From fires to flooding to straight-up SINKING, you'd have to pay me to go on a cruise at this point. They seem treacherous...

Last Saturday, TikTok creator @only1daj shared a video of the flooded hallways on the Carnival Sunrise cruise. Flooding while you're on a boat is like...um...not cool. If I saw water filling the halls on my cruise, I would freak the FRACK out, dude.

The guests in this video don't look too happy. Check it out below.

The comments on this video are pretty hilarious. Here are some of my favorites:

'I wake up on a cruise and feel water I might as well be dead."

"The way I'd be crying, throwing up and passing out lol"

"I woulda felt like I was in Titanic pt 2"

"Saw the carnival freedom video last night, my parents leave for a carnival cruise in a couple weeks...they're not allowed to go anymore."

"I'm IMMEDIATELY taking a painting off the wall so I can get on it."

"Idk where I woulda ran but I'd just run like hell."

"I'm trying to figure out what the towels were supposed to do."

"MOLD! If you know, you know."

Have you ever been onboard a cruise ship when something went wrong? I'd love to hear from you! Feel free to email me at Chrissy.Covington@townsquaremedia.com and tell me your story!

Texans Reveal What Should Really Be Taught In Public School

When I look back on my education in Texas, I remember vast amounts of my precious time spent learning things that never helped me in real life- particularly how to take a standardized test. Instead of wasting our children's time, what should be taught in Texas schools?

What Is A Day Like In Texas Prisons? A View From Both Sides Of The Bars

Have you ever wondered what life inside a Texas prison is really like? I asked friends who are correction officers and folks who have volunteered at jails. I also asked former inmates, and browsed forums and articles with current and former inmates. Put all together, it paints what I hope is a fairly accurate picture of daily prison life in Texas.
