A cute little gray fox was spotted running through the parking lot of the Texas Tech University the other day. It's not totally uncommon to see foxes around town from time to time or to catch them on your security camera scampering through your backyard at night. But, being quick enough to get a video of one with your cell phone is another story. Those little dudes are fast.

A graduate student in the chemistry department snagged a clip of the fox on campus and shared it on Facebook yesterday. Have you seen this little cutie on your way to class before?

Take a peek at the video below:

What should we name it? I asked everyone in the office and here are some of the suggestions:

"Raider Not So Red Fox"

"Jaime Fox"

"Mr. Fantastic"

"Lil John"

"Todd"

"9 Tails"

"Goofy Cat"

"Cat Dog"

"Foxy Foxy"

Foxes, raccoons, and possums are all over town. We've got a ton of them. I actually saw a raccoon run across Broadway in downtown Lubbock in the middle of the day last week, which I thought was pretty weird. You usually only come across them at night. I think it lives in the bushes of my apartment complex with a bunch of stray cats. Big snuggly happy family in those bushes...

Do you see any interesting wildlife in your part of town? Have a video to share? I'd love to see it. Feel free to email me at Chrissy.Covington@townsquaremedia.com for a chance to be in an article.
