Treat Your Mouth This Month

So you that March was a little mild? Maybe you were just hoping for a good basketball tournament? Well, along comes Blue Bell to make March a real month to remember. The "Best Ice Cream In The Country" is back with a new flavor to sweeten up your life.

Are You Ready?

The latest from Blue Bell is "Gooey Butter Cake". This incredibly rich flavor features cake batter ice cream with a cream cheese swirl and rich, gooey butter cake pieces. There's a reason for this introduction as well, Blue Bell came up with their flavor as a big "Hello" to the St. Louis market, the place where Butter Cake was invented and/or perfected.

And The Verdict Is...

Yet another home run. Not only is this one of the creamiest, most delicious, and complex flavors, but it practically begs to be paired with a cup of coffee, or even a glass of whiskey. This is a flavor that kids will love, but at the same time, there is something very adult about it.

And What's Next?

We were given the hint that the next big thing to drop should be around May, so you have some time to get a lot of "Gooey Butter Cake" ice cream under your belt before Blue Bell knocks your sock off again.  We DID have a suggestion for the future, we hope that one day Blue Bell will put their team of chef/scientists on a "Lemon Square" flavor (Lemon Square Suprise?). Let's get the R&D folks on that pronto!
