Rebecca Clark was charged and gored by a bison at the Caprock Canyons State Park & Trailway recently after getting far too close to a few of them while passing through the park. The video is absolutely terrifying.

She admits that she was at fault for this scenario and that she "supports safety while enjoying Texas State Parks." The TikTok video she shared of her experience has now gone viral, with over 2 million views.

Please use caution before watching this video. It is pretty unsettling.

Of course, there were tons of questions about the encounter in the comments below this video, which led her to posting some updates about what happened. She is definitely lucky to be alive, after being airlifted to the hospital.

She took the time to post more videos to help educate people that may find themselves in a situation such as this.

There is also apparently a "thumb rule" when you are dealing with bison. If you hold out your thumb and can't cover them up completely, then you are likely way too close.

If you find yourself too close to the bison, please do yourself a favor and TURN AROUND. You do not want to be in the situation she was in. I can't even imagine how terrifying that must have been. She is very lucky to have had some phone service to be able to contact emergency services.

Scary stuff, boys and girls! Make sure you are aware of your surroundings at all times when you are in an area with wild bison! They don't play by the same rules as we do.
