It's not easy to get into a good university, even for the smartest young students. But that's no excuse to hire someone to cheat on your college entrance exams.

Police in New York have arrested 7 students who were part of a SAT "cheating ring." Students allegedly paid 19-year-old college student Sam Eshaghoff between $1500 to $2500 to take their SAT exams for them. According to authorities, the administration identified the students by the "large discrepancies between their academic performance records and their SAT scores."  The students' names have not been released.

This is just another sad example of people trying to take the easy way out, and failing hard. These kids didn't think they could handle it, so they hired someone to cheat for them, and quite possibly cheated some good, honest, hard-working students out of getting in to the school they wanted. Hopefully, this little episode will help these kids realize you can only get so far by cheating.
