40-year-old Hector Madrid, who was charged with murder in a double homicide case in New Mexico, appeared in court Friday morning for an arraignment and extradition waiver hearing.

Hobbs Police Officers were called to a home back on Monday and located the bodies of 37-year-old Rojelio Velasqes and 40-year-old Chrystal Moore. Both had apparent gunshot injuries.

According to KAMC News, Lubbock's SWAT Team was called to the 2200 block of 93rd Street back on Wednesday, and that's where Madrid was arrested.

25-year-old Alfonso Aldaco of Lubbock was charged with 2 counts of accessory to murder, and is Madrid's co-defendant.
