Gas Prices Continue to Increase Across Texas

AAA Texas released their latest edition of the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch on Thursday.  The average price for self-serve regular unleaded rose six cents from last week to $3.49 a gallon. Texas' average price is 17 cents less than the national average of $3.66.

The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex has the highest average price in the state at $3.57 per gallon.  AAA Texas' report also states that gas prices may continue to rise as the May 1^st deadline for summer-blend gasoline approaches.
