On Tuesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Karen Sims of Lakeridge United Methodist Church and Tracy Boz of Home Instead Senior Care talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about how "Aging Isn't For Sissies."

"Aging Isn't For Sissies" is a series on monthly luncheons and seminars that discuss topics of interests to those 40 and older. This month, the topic is "Senior Safety" and how to protect themselves from fraud. Boz said that senior citizens are a popular target for scam artists, and that seniors need to learn how to protect themselves and their money from these scams.

The seminars take place at Lakeridge United Methodist Church on the third Thursday of every month thorough the month of May. For more information on "Aging Isn't For Sissies," and to RSVP for future seminars, call 794-4015.
