A fire this morning just north of Lubbock city limits burned three structures.

Lubbock County Emergency Management Coordinator Clinton Thetford said the original call was for a grass fire but it was then changed to a structure fire. Volunteer firefighters from New Deal, Shallowater and West Carlisle responded to the fire at FM 2641 and North Boston Avenue.

One person was treated at the scene for minor smoke inhalation.

There were no other injuries reported, and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
