With a heavy heart, I have to report that Elotes Restaurant is up for sale.

The owners posted on Facebook Tuesday that they're having to make the tough decision to sell due to a growing family that needs their attention. They're hoping to sell it as a turnkey location, meaning everything is ready to go for anyone who is needed a location for a restaurant. They also said they promise it's a good thing.

"Wolfforth is a growing town and has so much to offer," they posted. "Any food trucks that would like to get into brick & mortar or other locals that would like to expand this is a great opportunity!"

The owners also said "Elotés restaurant is still going to be OPEN and serving our own recipes on Eloté and Tacos."

If you've never heard of Elotes Restaurant, it's the Vasquez family's own twist on a restaurant for corn and tacos, making it not just your normal Mexican food.

The Vasquezes moved from Midland, Texas to Wolfforth because they love the area, school district and volleyball programs. They moved down here in 2020 and then one year later opened up this awesome restaurant in Wolfforth in February 2021. This isn't anything new for the family, this is actually the eighth restaurant they built in five years all in the Midland and Odessa area.

They have four different flavors of Elotes, which is roasted corn, and I've tried them all. They are all delicious. Along with the corn, they serve gourmet tacos with all kinds of meats, like beef, chicken, shrimp and more.

Elotes Restaurant is located out at 602 Donald Preston Drive, Suite #104 in Wolfforth. For more information, you can find them on Facebook or call Daniel Vasquez at 432-269-8385 or 806-855-2023.
