Early voting begins Monday in Texas for the 2019 Constitutional Election. Early voting for the November 5th election runs through Friday, November 1st.

On the ballot will be 10 proposed constitutional amendments. The most high profile amendment is Prop. 4 that if approved, would make it harder for Texas lawmakers to impose a state income tax. Here's how it will appear on your ballot:

“The constitutional amendment prohibiting the imposition of an individual income tax, including a tax on an individual’s share of partnership and unincorporated association income.”

Prop. 4 is just 1 of 10 amendments Texans will be voting on. Here is the full list of constitutional amendments on the ballot.

There are many locations in Lubbock County to cast a ballot, including most United Supermarket locations. Polls will be open most days from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For a full list of voting locations and times, visit VoteLubbock's website.
