A West Texas state representative shared his thoughts on the chaos of Tuesday night after State Senator Wendy Davis finished her filibuster.

District 68 Representative Drew Springer joined the Chad Hasty Show Thursday on KFYO to talk about the rowdy spectators in the gallery during the filibuster of Senate Bill 5, a bill which puts restrictions on abortion clinics in Texas.

"I was dissapointed when...the gallery broke decorum. They clearly had done it for hours before," Representative Springer said. "Disrupting the state's business is not the way democracy works."

The Republican House member also discussed Texas Voter I.D. with certain provisions in the Voting Rights Act struck down by the Supreme Court of the United States.

The Chad Hasty Show airs weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on News Talk 790 KFYO .
