Drastic Weather Change To Bring Rain and Possibly Snow To Lubbock

If you thought it has been to warm and dry this December, overnight, Lubbock and the South Plains saw a shift in the weather pattern.

Temperatures are also supposed to be on the cooler side with highs Wednesday in the upper 40's, on Thursday around 40 degrees.

Thursday night in Friday morning we could see temperatures around freezing and according to the National Weather Service, there is a chance that Lubbock could see snow or a rain/snow mix Thursday night or early Friday.

If any snow does fall, it's expected to be very light without accumulation.

So get ready cooler temperatures, lots of rain, and maybe even some winter weather.
