A man and his employer are being sued after a wreck that left one man critically injured. Alexandro Guzman has filed a lawsuit against pick-up driver William Charles Freeman and Sodexo, Inc. after the severe accident last week.

On April 17th Freeman was driving his 2000 Chevrolet Pickup northbound on the access road of loop 289 near 50th Street when he ran a red light. Freeman "while in the course and scope of his employment with Sodexo, Inc." collided with a Toyota pickup, which flipped over onto Guzman’s Ford Taurus. The Jaws of Life had to be used to rescue Guzman, who was left with severe injuries.

Guzman’s attorney Kevin Glasheen said of the lawsuit “Our firm has filed a lawsuit on behalf of Alexandro, to ensure that we preserve all evidence in this case. Our firm is helping Alexandro get the best medical care possible.” The suit was filed this morning in Lubbock County District Court by the law offices of Glasheen, Valles and Inderman.
