Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, Councilman Jeff Griffith joined the program to share an update on the coronavirus crisis, as well as plans and changes coming to the city of Lubbock.

Unifying and simplifying Lubbock's city code, including building, zoning and signage regulations were topics of discussion during the interview, as was the proposed downtown park and downtown redevelopment, coronavirus distribution, taxpayer-funded lobbying, and much more.

"We've still got a long way to go...I appreciate the volunteers, and the hospitals, pharmacies, but our health department's just been spectacular, they've really risen to the occasion on this," Griffith said while describing the streamlined process city partners have developed for getting citizens vaccinated as soon as possible.
