Coronavirus Cases in Lubbock County Grow to 14

The City of Lubbock confirmed four additional cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, March 24th, bringing the total in Lubbock County to 14.
The City of Lubbock Health Department and other agencies are prepared and have employed standard response plans to address and resolve public health issues.
The department will continue monitoring individuals as indicated by the CDC.
This week, Mayor Dan Pope issued a declaration of disaster that shut down "all nonessential businesses" through April 3rd, 2020. Pope has declined to issue a shelter in place order.
