Municiple Offices Close for Thanksgiving 2017

City of Lubbock offices will be closed Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Regular business hours will resume on Monday. Regularly scheduled trash pickup will not occur on Thursday or Friday. There will be limited trash pickup on Saturday and residents with trash cart collection will have their trash collected on Saturday and are asked to have their carts out before 7:00 a.m. that day.

The City of Lubbock Drop-Off Recycling and Citizen Convenience Stations at 1631 84th Street, 208 Municipal Drive, 7308 Milwaukee and 4307 Adrian Street will also be closed on Thursday and Friday.

Landfills, libraries, municipal museums, post offices, state offices, the court house, and community centers will also be closed.
