City of Lubbock Wants Us to Recycle Our Phone Books

You could throw your old phone books in the trash and hope they will be recycled.  But the city of Lubbock has a more precise suggestion.

In a news release, the city is urging you to take the phone books to the city’s two permanent drop-off locations.

On the northside, the drop-off spot is at 208 Municipal Drive.  On the southside go to 1631 84^th Street.

Telephone books will be accepted from January 17 through March 1, Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
